In the 6 years that we were out there we never had any problems with the postal service.

However, you need to bear in mind that Mrs KKOB was in the jewellery business and the majority of the stuff that she was sending and receiving consisted of small, robust and relatively light-weight packages.

If you're sending fragile or bulky items they may not be suited for despatch via the PTT and you may have to consider a courier service and specialised packaging which will have an impact on costs.

I seem to have a problem receiving any mail,Birthday cards,.bills,parcels etc,even though I showed the postman where we lived!!!!!!!!

Same here Millimars. After the postal scandal earlier this year things got better for about 2 months.....now back to receiving no mail whatsoever.Still waiting for hubbys 60th birthday cards from the U.K. two and a half months after the event!:(
