If ANYONE, & I do mean, ANYONE,on this Forum, who has bought a property in Turkey, really believes that THEIR property was constructed & fitted out by fully qualified, bona fide tradesmen, then that person is very sadly, disillusioned ! It IS Turkey, after all !  8)

Very true

As a widow, who has very limited diy skills, I would be eternally grateful, and very happy to pay someone who can fit new light fittings, add new sockets, put together flat packed furniture, and do various other jobs I need doing.

I totally understand that houses in Turkey  may not be built to British Standards however, I had no control over the conditions in which my house was built.  I do now have control over who I use to do jobs.  So, I will use the correct tradesman for the job.

@ grahamturner09 , give him a ring for a price for painting . Can i just clear something up , he doesnt do all the jobs himself , sometimes he gets other tradesmen in , but his work is very good , he was the maintenance man at the Leda for many years and in doing so knows how to do many jobs , he has always done excellent work for me and others in the area , he also cleans villas and maintains the swimming pools , im just trying to let people know of a good honest reliable person if they are looking for one in the Ovacik area .
