Unique offer to CBF members
« on: October 04, 2012, 21:49:54 PM »
Keith has always said that he will give a free mention to businesses that offer discounts to CBF members.  After consulting with him he is very happy for me to post about the following offer from Suleyman Aysu, who is the man who supplies  tables for the 3C’s monthly car boot sales and Christmas Fair.  His  offer  has to be unique in the history of CBF.

During the day Suleyman works in the morgue at the Devlet hospital, Calis. However  his other business is to  hire out tables, chairs and tarpaulins for various events,  births, weddings, circumcision and other family parties.  He has now extended this business and is specialising in funeral and burial services.

I have attached a copy of Suelyman’s business card (below) and you will see that he provides a wide range of funeral services from A to Z - including the supply of coffins and graves, grave digging and burial services, the supply of a reverend/preacher, both domestic and overseas processes for the death certificate,  central and civil registration system reports and the supply of transport.  He even has his own website www.aysuhismet.com   He is based across from the emergency services department at the Devlet Hospital, Calis.

Now for the good (?) part - Suleyman  is offering 20% discount off his funeral services for all CBF members and their families. He will also arrange funeral plans in advance for members that live alone so that they know that everything is taken care of.

We cannot personally vouch for his service  as fortunately we have not been in this position (and hopefully won’t for a long, long time yet) but we can say that he has been very reliable and helpful when we have used his other services at 3C's events.

I think I'd go for coffin, grave, and the transit with metallic paint.

I used to think planning your funeral was a bit odd.  However in the course of my work I have come across several funeral plans and I now can see the reasoning behind them.
The weight that is taken of the family or surviving partner must be tremendous.
Living in Turkey I would imagine that a death would be hard enough without worrying about the paperwork involved.
Hopefully someone will be able to vouch for the man as a good, honest businessman.

Heather, I can only speak as I find and have no experience of his funeral services but what experiences I personally have had with Sulaman over the past year have shown him to be honest and trustworthy - a very nice man indeed.

I suggested we ask him for a couple of embalmings for the promises auction but it was rejected by my fellow committee members. lol.  I think they told me to get "stuffed". lol.

Hi I was involved in sorting out a friends funeral last year and is a painless procedure we just had a little help from Koray at Atak.
