Furniture shop websites
« on: April 27, 2013, 13:03:44 PM »
Hi all.  I've done a bit of searching on here for furniture shops and found some great stuff thanks.  Does anyone know of websites we could take a look at for furniture over there?  I've got bravocassa and eren spot.  http://www.erenspot.net/   http://www.bravocassa.com/

We're coming out in a month and have to furnish our villa from top to bottom in 2 weeks!  It's a tough job but someone's got to do it.   ;D  Mainly, though, I'm just intrigued and excited to see what our money can get us over there.

Thanks,

SuzzPuss and Peter

Thanks KKOB!  Great furniture but the store location button gives me a blank page.  Do you know where they are?   :-[

They've got several branches in Fethiye.

There's also Bellona http://www.bellona.com.tr/  and Yatas http://www.yatasgrup.com.tr/

There are also a couple of big shops on the D400 just outside Karaculha near the Fethiye Gold Centre and another couple on the same road on the approach to Kemer.

You've also got a wide choice of smaller shops and workshops where you can have furniture made to your own specifications within a few days.

Don't forget the Ev Kur / Secondhand shops too. There are half a dozen of them around Fethiye and you can get some real bargains in them, including free delivery.

Oh, and by the way, don't be at all surprised if the stores want to deliver goods to you on the same day that you purchase them. There's none of the "6 weeks for delivery" crap over there. What you see in the shops is available to buy there and then.

Great idea about 2nd hand shops.  I'll look out for them.  I'd heard about the fast delivery.  It's brilliant isn't it?  It's also the reason why we think we might be able to furnish the place in one 2 week visit.  I'd be terrified otherwise I think because we've got friends using it in the summer and we can't really tell them we got everything except the beds!!  Hehe.   :D

Brilliant help KKOB.  Thanks again.

Suzz   :D

One of the ones KKOB mentions on the way to Kemer is this one: http://www.sancarlar.com.tr/aindex.aspx

Sadly the website is not in English but will give you an idea. We were looking for a cream leather suite for years and found ours here. If the sales manager is still there his English is excellent. Quite a selection of furniture on show, well worth a visit.
