I remember Daktari and Clarence the cross eyed lion. I even remember the theme tune.

Cant remember what the first colour programme I ever saw was though. It could have been Colditz.

I didn't get a colour tv until late 70s, and can't remember the first thing I watched, but I remember vividly getting our first black and white tv when I was about 10. It was a huge thing with sliding doors, ours too from Radio Rentals, and it was really exciting as we all sat down to watch Coronation Street !

When we had our first colour TV there were only test programmes and I can still remember one that was called "Flight of fancy" where a young couple looked into a Travel Agent's window and were suddenly whisked away on a jet plane to tropical islands. Don't remember the year though.

Anyone remember Come Dancing?,  it was amazing seeing the colour of the dresses for the first time after watching it for so long in black & white .

According to Jeeves the first colour broadcast in the UK was a live broadcast from Wimbledon tennis in 1967.
Too early for me to remember.   ;)
I do remember the various TV's from Radio Rentals though. We always had 21" TV's, more like a portable tv now.

Cant remember the first tv programme I watched in colour, but do remember my nan having a tv delivered from Radio Rentals, and we all gathered round to watch The Army Game.

I can't remember which show I watched for the first time. I do remember we were one of the first in our block and neighbours came over to watch football (Ajax) in colour during their EC I campaign in the early seventies. I can also remember watching Bonanza, High Chaparel and of course Daktari with Clarence and Judy.
