it might not be connected but a couple of days later our apartment was broken into lucky we came back and think we scared them off windows and door had been forced  but luckily they didnt get in. This put us off coming back to our friends appartment and calis .

Sad to read. A hotel might be a good option? Seems a shame (but an understandable one) to not return.

I commented on this topic last year after we'd seen this guy when we went to visit some friends at their villa in the area between Nevada Su and back of Pelin Hotel. Can't remember exactly where but in that area. They said he came round nearly every day trying to sell fish which they had the good sense not to buy.  But they also mentioned that the people in the next villa had been broken into a couple of days before and had passports and other things stolen.  Obviously can't say it was him, but is it just co-incidence?

Keith, we didn't see him in May this year but he often frequents Telmessos on a Sunday whenever we are there in August if this is any help .
