Long Term Rental Rainbow Properties
« on: October 27, 2016, 13:49:02 PM »
I am looking for a long term rental in Calis Beach from April/May next year and Rainbow properties have got a property available now which looks suitable for me and wondered if anyone can give me an idea whether or not it is a suitable location.  It is opposite the Nevada Su Hotel but as I don't know the area I am unsure if this is near dolmus and shops.  Would appreciate any advice, thanks.

Dolmus runs on route A - B - C - approximately 300m walk from Nevada Su.

Hope this helps.

There's a couple of markets on the road before the dolmus route marked on H's map

Good area, just about 5-10 minutes walk to the prom and the main street.   Dolmus stops around and there are small markets in the area.

I used to live in that area but moved because I found the music from the Nevada Su very annoying, it used to start at breakfast and continue through till about 9 or 10 pm. Not everyday, but most days. Apart from that it is a good location, 5 mins from the dolmus route, 10 minutes to the prom, and a small market on the main road. It just depends whether the bump, bump, bump of the music would drive you mad as it did me!

We passed the Nevada a couple of times in the last few weeks and did not hear a thing.  We went there last year for a visit and there was no music at that time either.

We stayed at Nevada Su some years ago and the loud music was a big drawback.

What made it worse was the fact that the staff played the music at the very high level for their benefit not the guests.  :( >:( :(

Possibly now, they are not playing the loud music as they did years ago?
For example the Mangel in the main street was playing such loud music in May and June the whole street could hear it and one restaurant owner told us, that he and other businesses would consider complaining.  We noted in September and October the loud music had stopped.

I went to the Nevada quite a few days this year and there was defo no loud music only one day when a couple of women asked for it to be turned up but even then it was bearable, this is also one of my pet hates during the daytime...
