« on: April 06, 2017, 08:42:24 AM »
Just a reminder that the annual mushroom and wine fest starts tomorrow (Friday) for three rip roaring days.
Food, drink aplenty is available . local craft and charity stalls selling heaps of quality stuff..
performances on central stage by local children, musicians etc.
Well worth a visit

Hi Uzumlu, unfortunately we are not at the Mushroom Festival this year but last year we were there and it was amazing.  We went to the very first Mushroom Festival and it was great to be immersed with our Turkish friends and neighbours in the village.  In comparison to the first Festival, last year was huge and I seem to remember someone saying over the course of the 3 days some 30,000 people had visited Uzumlu.  It was great fun, brilliant entertainment and a pleasure to be there.  Missing the village and our friends.  Have fun everyone.
