The trauma and the memories don't fade so quickly. But for the younger children, time will help. It's the older refugees that I really feel for. Everything they worked hard for all their lives taken away and their families scattered or killed.

I moan about my own life far less nowadays.

Isn't it a sad reflection on human life that the majority of photos that become icon depict tragedy or sad events
