put google in your search engine, it usually says in small letters do you want google chrome as your search engine, click yes.

go to add/remove programmes, find the name of the other one and delete it.

err thats what I think anyway.. :o

It's adware.

Try a System Restore. If that doesn't get rid of it, instructions for removal are here.

Open the Control Panel by clicking Start, and then clicking Control Panel.
Click System and Security, and then click System.
Under the Control Panel Home menu, click System protection. ...
Click System Restore.
Recommended Restore is the default choice.

Plenty more info if you Google 'system restore'

Ok, on lappy to deal with spamming feckwit.

Dont do system restore, you dont have to go that far.  If above doesnt work try:

http://www.virusresearch.org/remove-vidsquare-virus-chrome-firefox/

Or

https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/virus-removal/remove-powered-by-vidsquare-advertisements

Its like sh1t on a blanket and doing a full restore may not solve it if the infection happened a while ago and your back up files have it.

Good luck.
