Flying out today to complete the sale of our property in Kaya. Not sure whether I'm happy or sad.
-
Hope all goes well for you - safe journey.
-
Hope everything goes ok, I think I would be sad :(
-
Arrrwww, it will be a bit of both, Happy & Sad, hope all goes straight forward for you, all the best !! :)
-
Congratulations. Hope everything goes well.
Just an information if you will sign in person, I have posted this on Calis Beach Facebook Group 2 days ago:
ABOUT DEED TRANSFERS:
If buyer or sellers want to sign in person for deed transfer, they are not being allowed to sign before 14 days passes after they enter to the country.
Obviously this is a temporary thing related with Covid 19.
It is possible to give power of attorney to someone and the attorney can sign in the name of them.

Yes I understand how you must have many thoughts and memories good and bad buzzing around at this time. Maybe a couple of stones/pebbles from the garden would grace a Wrexham mantelpiece....God speed with it all!
-
Hope everything goes smoothly for you KKOB :)

That's all folks ! All done and dusted. Money in the bank. We're very happy bunnies thanks to Beyaz Homes / Property Turkey.
-
......money in the bank - that's nice! Drinks all round at the Elihu Vale ? ;)
-
Great news Alan - it’s never sold till you have the money.
-
very good news for you, I have followed most of your on going issues for a long time ,I remember the photos of the flooded area by your property .
-
Apparently the new owners have got plans to raise the level of the garden with several hundred tonnes of spoil and 'compost'. They're also going to raise the surrounding walls to about 8 feet and install an above ground pool. A further half a million TL investment in the property.

We left Turkey last October after living there for 20 years. Loved Turkey and the people but felt it was time to move on and returned to live in UK. We are so glad now that we are in UK with our loved ones during this crisis and have settled back in so well. It was just time to come back - love Turkey but have no regrets about leaving. Hope all goes well for you.

Great news Alan - it’s never sold till you have the money.
Half transferred into my Yapi Kredi account on Wednesday and the rest in cash. Only just managed to get all the 1.5million TL in my rucksack. ;)
Just waiting for the £s to land in our UK accounts. Already paid a deposit on a car. :)
-
Who's best to transfer your money to UK with Kkob please.
-
I wouldn't really know davybill. I just put the whole lot into my TL account at Yapi Kredi. Then had most of it transferred to my GBP account and gave them instructions on amounts to transfer to our UK accounts. We were more interested in having good contacts that we could rely on at YP than to go shopping around.
-
OK.Cheers hope all goes well
-
An update davybill. The first tranche of money has arrived and the transfer of £100,000 from my Yapi Kredi GBP account to my UK Santander account cost me the grand sum of £15. So, as you can imagine, I'm well pleased.
-
Kkob, where do we send the begging letters to😂😂🙈
-
My good friend in Jesus, Professor, Doctor, Barrister Nbogi Fratatwagi, PO Box 768, Nairobi. Kenya.
-
No, he sends them to me via email, all too frequently😳😁
-
Well, you'll just have to continue with the begging letters to Scunner. You'll wear him down eventually and he'll let you see £1 at Christmas.
-
That's really good😛😛
