Title: Is this news for Koca Calis? From the horse's mouth....

I have just been speaking to a very nice Scottish chap who rang me from Orka Homes re my property search.

We got chatting about how buoyant the property market has been over the last 2 years in Turkey etc and he mentioned Orka's building programme around Fethiye.

According to him the land that Orka have bought in Koca Calis is not going to get its 5 Star Hotel for at least another 4-5 years.

That's because they are concentrating first on building something around the dolmus terminus in the Karagozler area and also refurbishing a large hotel they have bought down there too (he couldn't remember the name of it..) along with other smaller projects.

You guys may already know this but I thought I'd mention it anyway.

Didnt know there was a dolmus station in Karagozler and thought it was well away from Koca Calis ?

Yes there is a dolmus terminus in karagozler

Is that another 5 star hotel site in Calis ?

My understanding is the site next to Sunset Beach Club that has been earmarked for such a hotel belongs to Hanel rather than Orka.

I really don't know Ian, he didn't specify where in Koca Calis. He did say that Orka has owned the land for about 10 years though.
