Title: Power of Attorney (Costs and Process)

Can anybody assist me with supplying details of how one arranges Power of attorney (we are doing this between each other as a married couple rather than for a third party), i.e. any specific individuals that offer this service and what is involved and especially costs. Many thanks in advance, I have looked at other threads but some are quite old. I have had one quote which puts the price at 1200 TRY which seems a bit steep to me but I could be wrong.

Sorry, don't know how much Fethiye notars charge currently but 1200tl strikes me as being on the high side - is there a translator charge on top or is that included?

We used Alpher (recommended on the forum ) approx 4yrs back for POA and the total cost was in the region of £400  hope this helps

Thanks for the replies, it was said that the notary's fees were covered within this amount.

We did not pay this much. The translator's fee was 90TL.

The fees will vary depending on what the subject is about to translate also how many people are involved.A 90tl notary fee sounds cheap but it depends on what they did for you.
