Post by: mac2010 on June 17, 2015, 09:35:04 AM
Can anyone recommend where to buy good quality fire wood here in Fethiye. Mesh and chum are the two types I am after and I want to get it soon so It can dry out.The stuff I got last year was horrible wet and did not burn very well. Any help will be appreciated .

Ohhps I must stop using Mrs T's IPad when it is in reach, rather than climbing the stairs to access my laptop.....doh!!!  When she gets back from her shift at the 3 C's shop I'll be in for another rollocking. :  :) :  :)

mac2010, the best advice I can give you, is that the further you go out of town, the cheaper the wood becomes. Buy in bulk from the loggers if you can, even if it means getting 1 or 2 neighbours together to purchase a tractor trailer load.

If you buy from garden centres you'll definitely be lining their pockets with your "Yabanci tax".
