Title: More stoking of the fires of Turkish nationalism by our Reg.
Post by: usedbustickets on June 12, 2016, 12:27:14 PM
The BBC is reporting that death threats and other attacks have been made against 11 German MPs of Turkish descent, who voted in the recent German parliamentary debate that there was Armenian genocide in the final years of the Ottoman Empire.  As you can imagine the Turkish Nationalist of various hues are enraged that firstly the Germans voted for this recognition, and that secondly this was done by people of German descent.

Always keen these days to stoke up the hate and bile of any nationalist cause, our Reggie has inquired after these 11 MPs:-

'What sort of Turks are these?'

Well Reg I think you can clearly see that they are not Turks at all but are in fact Germans.  Blimey what next will Reg be claiming Boris Johnson as a true Turk ... I don't think so.
