capadoccia or goreme valley

Has anybody been recently to either of these places? I love the look of them, but they seem so far away - would it be feasible to do them during a three week trip, and if so what is best way to get there? any advice appreciated.

We are also interested in anyone who has been to Capadoccia and specifically been on a hot air balloon trip there.

Thanks

Go there, it is brilliant. Suggest you stay at the Kilim Pension, it's a cave hotel located at the base of the castle in Uchisar, it has great views over the Goreme valley and the owner, Mehmet, is a great host. see here for more info
