Did you know - for those of you who may be interested - there is a Fethiye Racing Pidgeon club....?  They buy and sell the birds and feed and hold races at certain times of the year.  The meetings on a Saturday evening attract people from all over the Mugla area.  I find it wierd, but I know there's alot of Northern UK expats here (LOL)

Whats a "Pidgeon"?  Is it any relation to a "Pigeon"?

Point of interest Pidgeon is the old way of spelling Pigeon and in modern english both spellings are considered correct.
Sorry, I'll go now.  :)

As a proud Lancastrian,I cannot honestly remember ever having worn a flat cap or a waistcoat. This is nothing short of regionalist-stereotyping and a disgrace!
Now I have got that off my chest,Im off down t'allotments with me ferrets n'wippets.

What county do you come from Glenn? Surely ferrets and whippets along with flat caps and mufflers are the property of Yorkshire folk? Hands off our heritage and get yer own  :)
