Sunbed towels
« on: June 25, 2008, 14:37:24 PM »
I am looking for some towels for our sunbeds. They obviously need to be long - longer than normal beach towels, especially as I would like them to be fitted at at least one end - i.e. tucking underneath like a fitted sheet.

Has anyone seen any for sale in the Fethiye or surrounding areas? I had a quote to have some made but it was astronomical!

Many thanks

Linda

Hi Linda, We use something called an Itsa. They are fabulous It is an invention that was on Dragons den a while ago. They are made of a towelling material but fit over the top  and bottom of your sunbed so they dont slide off.
Down the sides are various pockets for your suncream and books etc. There are even loops to run your I pod cable up the side.
You can buy them on the internet The email address for the site is
www.theitsa.com/http:/

Down side is they are quite heavy to take in your luggage.

Itsa's are fab - we've all got them infact one Christmas everyone got them that we knew! They are heavy the first time you take them but after that if you have your own place leave them! They event covert into their own bag for carrying puposes- genius!

Thanks for all your replys - but I was actually trying to find somewhere out here in Turkey where I could buy them or have them made. Crazy that you can get them easily in th UK and not out here.

I got some white ones on Fethiye market last year very good quality I think they only cost me a few pounds .
Look on the towel stalls, they were on the stall with all the bargain towels just all mixed up , you have to have a good rummage through them.
Hope this helps and you find what you are looking for ( happy rummaging ).

There's a shop on the back road out of Fethiye (electric avenue) which sells big towels. The road opposite the PTT, go to the end, turn right and about 50 metres up on the right, a little tiny shop. Extra large and they were cheap as well! Hope this helps Linda
