Is the crown green available to players on holiday, as I believe the Oykun was/is or is it for members only. In laws are coming over in June and are both keen bowlers so would appreciate the opportunity to play on grass whilst on hols??

Oykun is not for crown green bowls, it is lawn bowls on an artificial surface and open to the public. There is a new crown green club opened up past the Pelin Hotel though. We went up to see it in May

What's happened to the bowling greens? We did not see Oykun bowled upon May or September and when we walked up to the crown green in Sept its all over grown. I spoke to a bowler there in may and there were big plans for the area? Are the bowlers bowling elsewhere now?
:D
