My wife and I just happened to pop in there yesterday after visiting a friend who lived nearby.
The bar was absolutely empty except for three gentlemen playing Pool.
There were no Guests visible at all.
One of the Pool players eventually detached himself from the Pool Table and took our order - One Efes and one Gin and Tonic. The order was delivered within a minute or so. So far, so Good.
After consumption we asked for the Hesap.
14 Lira.
When asked for a breakdown of the bill it was 4 Lira for the EFES ( OK ) and 10 Lira for the G&T! And it was Turkish Gin! ( We saw it being poured )
No wonder the place had no other customers!

Blimey Farmer, do they not see what is going on around them...they must be blinkered or just not care?, who knows...sure as hell they are not going to get any business thats for sure.

We had a few G&T's when we were over in August (but not at the Dost!). The measures in most places were probably triples (or more) and we paid 6 lira each at most (5 lira in some places).

I remember going there just the once, in 2003. It was empty then too. The one in one of the wedges around the wedding circle?
