Turkey Holidays on T.V.
« on: February 01, 2010, 11:30:56 AM »
Just seen a holiday spot on the Good Morning Show.  Turkey was featured as a good place to have a holiday.  The resort was Kemer, but it was the usual thing, an all inclusive holiday, The guy did say to get out and see some of the countryside though.  Apparently, Turkey is the No.1 place to holiday this year from the U.K. The P.O. say they have had a 44% rise in people ording Turkish Lira. So the word was to book early :)

Sky 3 has a half hour thing with a lot of deals as well. Shows Hisaronu and I think briefly mentions Fethiye as a stop on a boat deal.

That programme on sky3 is on a looped repeat - I have seen it at least four or five times over the past year or so.   :)

Every time I see Turkey advertised on there, I watch, just in case it's been updated, or is actually a new area (  :o ), but no, it's always the same programme.  :(

Interesting though, and it shows Turkey in all its glory!   :)
