When selling a property what percentage of the agreed selling price would be the norm percentage to expect on exchange of contract. With the balance paid by the buyer on receipt of Tapu?

The answer is that there is no 'norm'.

In the first instant I tried the search method. Have you tried putting in Tapu? Try it and see what you get. Also try any other  wording to try and get an answer and see what you get. The search method is great but not for all subjects.

There is no set figure. In my experience the seller wants 100% and the buyer wants to secure the sale with £100. Simply, the figure is thrashed out between those two. 10%-25% is the broad range.
