Its often your local Council rather than the Banks who will not accept water on direct debit.At least they do not cut you off for none payment unlike the electricity companies.

thanks for the correction on the water payments ,, I was told last week that is wasn't an option yet..

We've been paying our electric and water bills on DD from TEB Bank for the last 3 years no problems.
