Good book to read

I read "Room" whilst in Calis a week or so back.  It's quite an odd book, and, as one of its critics say on the cover - "disturbing".

It's about a little boy born and brought up in a room the size of a shed/garage.  He has never left the room so has not seen anything outside of the room.  He lives with his mum (they are imprisoned there) and he has names for the contents of the room, and talks about them as if they are his friends.

It's a good read - basically showing the love between a mother and her child.

Disturbing in lots of ways, but a very readable book.  I read it in a day, and have now passed it on to Fiona.  Come on Fi - read it and give us your comments!   :)
