As Mark says Edna, if the electric is on, its simply down to this horrible weather, bad signal etc.

I've been watching the snooker on Eurosport most of the afternoon, picture quality is fine, no silly messages nor lack of signal, the only problem has been the lack of electricity at times, hope that's clearer!

As for the spanking thrashing, where is it I go & when?  :-\

we hadn't used ours for ages and had lost alot of channels so i re scanned the box and it cured it... you could try that ...
Find the OPTS Button on your control and it should show a row of pictures on screen. click the second one and choose the digiturk inst. button to rescan for channels... :)

Well, took out the smart card in Digiturk box, gave it a wipe, reinserted it in box,low and behold...............my channels all came back.Dont think I will ever understand electronics over here.Saved me the call out fee for the Digituk man though...every cloud and all that.
