strange about the platforms! Would have thought maybe nice bean bag bar areas to sit on and chill and buy a drink. Cant see the point in squashing sunbeds on and charging a fortune for drinks. Still, I bet they will be used in the height of season!  As said before though, nice changing huts and toilets now.

Thanks Toky, sounds quite reasonable, although looks a bit cramped, at least its a start, needed something doing to the beach for years, just hope they can get rid of these so called street dogs crapping all over the place.

I liked all the big flpppy cushions last year on the edge of prom. The gliders now land directly on the prom as all the grassed areas have been edged off and landscaped.

Yes they do! they nearly landed on me! Whoaah, only in Turkey! Everything there is so lovely now, they have worked very hard, but there is no (free) shade anywhere unless you sit in a bar. They will loose trade I'm sure. Not everyone wants to sit in direct sun. Buzz bar still great!

Yes they had it all really nice at the start of last year but half way through the year some of the grass hadn't been cut the flower beds where all weedy and grass stopped to be watered and the plants looked really tired, hope that this year they keep it looking good all year.

It's a shame that all of the paragliders end up camping on the nice grass area's. One thing that I find frustrating in Turkey is the fact that things will be done to improve and area but once finishned it gets left and deteriorates, such a shame.

Looks like the character of Calis is changing. I'm all for progress, but I know what I like & can only see this idea escalating, which will something I & I'm sure many other won't like. Just keep the beach clean. Eliteism(spelling)is not something Ive come to experience in this lovely resort. All inclusive on the beach. Whatever next. If the thing ain't broken, don't try to fix it !!!!
