I Am thinking of going to Georgia for 2/3 weeks has any one done this trip by bus/ car /boat  ferry .any info would be good also do you need visa if you have u.k. passport cheers . ;)

I know there are regular coaches running between Istanbul and Tblisi but you'll get a lot of useful and upto date info if you have a look at the Lonely Planet and Trip Advisor websites.

Thanks got to give it a go 52 different beers produced there over 500 vine yards supposed to be the birth place of wine hence tsvino  Russian for wine,and one of the top 5 producers of cheeses after France /Italy /u.k. ,will try and look that up ,i saw KKOB the only reply i thought here we go again ,but to my surprise a sensible answer cheers KKOB . ;)

M8 of mine is up there at the mo' in Tiblisi, moving there shortly permanent married a georgian girl who has turkish kimlik by previous marriage. Hes done the trip via coach from Fethiye to Tiblisi many times. Hes coming back this week so i could put you in touch with him if you want Lance?
