We want to visit Saklikent again, is it possible to catch a dolmus from Calis or do we need to go in to Fethiye?

You'll need to go to Fethiye unfortunately, you can catch the Saklikent dolmus at the Mosque or anywhere along the main road past the market.   :)

Hello Valleyboy,

Can you tell me approximately how long the journey takes?

Just out of interest as we intend doing this in September.

Only ever been on organised tours before.

Thanks Valleyboy, do you know if it goes straight there and not to Yaka and the ruins and how much should I be paying?

Hi John,

Haven't done it for a couple of years, but if my memory serves me right it was about 2 hours and at the time cost 5 Tl each (probably increased now as all of them), we enjoyed it, I think it depends what time of the day you travel with regards to how full it is, outbound was not a problem, but returning we caught all the school kids going home, but ho hum !. We like using the Dolmus for the economy and to "absorb" the local atmosphere !   :) Enjoy !

As I've just told John the last time we did it it was 5 Tl each (probably 6 now ?), it can stop in the village where the Yaka Park and ruins are (you may have to stroll up the road, not sure we never got off), but like any Dolmus just shout to get off   ;)  :)

Thanks again. loved it last year but got put off by going by dolmus as we were dragged round place to place,in the end our group had to be quite firm with the driver to take us to the gorge.
