The actual "cotton mountains" are usually crawling with tourists but it's worth a visit to the spa to swim in the pools.

We were there the other day Toky.  Loved it!!!  Not a lot else to do there though once you've climbed to the top for a swim.  A bit of a rip off too in my opinion but am still glad we did it as it's something I'd always wanted to see.

1.  20tl each entry in
2.  reach the top and pay another 30tl each to swim in the large pool for 2 hours + another 5tl if you want a locker
3.  make your way back down to the park area and pay another 15tl for the pleasure of laying around the swimming pool on a sunbed for an    hour or two.

So your 70tl each before you buy a drink or lunch.  Add this to your travel costs and it soon adds up.

We've a hire car at the moment so went on our own and stayed overnight  in one of the hotels and came back the next morning.  If your planning on maybe going on one of the organized trips I'd make sure to check exactly what the cost covers before booking.

Brilliant reply Anne. Thank you. I was worried how I'd pass my time once I'd got there. Good point about what's included in trip, as we were looking at paying a tour company to go for the trip.
Well done you guys hiring a car! have you found it easy getting around?
You'r e a bit earlier in Calis this time. You coping with the heat? Keep safe xxxx

Being the passenger is easy Toky lol
Seriously Billy has never had any problems whilst driving here and most places are well sign posted so easy enough to find.

We  the overnight trip that takes in Ephesus and Pammukale.   Kill two birds with one stone .  It was a long journey but well worth it in our opinion.

We did. I'll post some pics later.
It's absolutely breathtaking but there is nothing there at all.  We did see a campsite and a very, very run down pension but very few people around.
We sat for an hour or two just taking in the scenery, I even had a paddle lol but I'd not go out of my way to go on a day trip as you'd need to carry food and drinks with you which would most probably be hot and horrid on arrival but well worth stopping there if your in the area. Tranquil, peaceful and outstandingly beautiful if you like that sort of thing.
