3 day gulet cruises from Fethiye.
« on: August 12, 2013, 15:48:15 PM »
Have any of you good folks ever been on one of these 3 day gulet cruises departing from Fethiye. We have always fancied it when we have been over, but haven't done so yet. Would really appreciate some first hand experiences you may have had. Are they expensive or good value for the money? Any particular boat or company you would recommend? :-\ :-\

Hi Chris, as no-one has answered you, I will, I have been looking at Gulet Cruises from Fethiye, & find that they either go to Olympos, which is on just beyond Kemer, on the coast road to Antalya, 3 nights, (can be done in reverse order as well), or, from Fethiye to Marmaris, & return. 4 days, or 7 days are the norm. There are variations in the prices, best to "Google" for yourself really, & pick whichever suits your budget & personal choice of trip. Enjoy, & please post your experience here for other Members to read.   :D 8)

Cheers Gordon, thanks for the info, found some other peoples comments from old posts after I posted this. One experience was enough to put me off a bit. They were nearly bloody shipwrecked!!   :-\ :-\

Having been on 3 gulet holidays I can thoroughly recommend them. I have only been on 7 day trips but I do know that a company called 'before lunch' do 3/4 day trips, and I've seen one of their boats moored up in Fethiye and it looked fantastic.
I've found the boats I have been on to be basic to the extreme, but what a fabulous way to spend a weeks holiday.
Good luck, and don't be put off, its an experience not to be missed !
