Ok, my two penneth.

Not moaning and groaning as we had a wonderful time at Fame Lara but couldn't help compare to last years fabulous Rixos Lara

So :

FAME negatives

Minibar charged at ridiculous rates
4 Euros a day for the safe
No free alcoholic drinks after midnight
Swimming pool was freezing and aquarobics teacher didnt turn up
Free advertised tennis wasn't free.... Court was free but 10 euros an hour for the rackets!
Evening entertainment was very very poor, animation team explained there simply aren't enough of them to do better. bingo at 10tl for one ticket ( not a strip) was really taking the p.
There was a mediocre band at the gala dinner, but that was it for live entertainment.
Disco outside in the grounds only open 3 nights a week and drinks payable in there.
Very slow service in dining room, a couple of times on dessert before offered a drink.not the staff fault, again, not enough of them.
Staff we chatted to demotivated by manager cutting corners and in their own admission not even spending money to heat the pool. In fact staff are told to tell customers they can't have the pool too warm as bacteria will breed!
Preferred the German market at the Rixos on Xmas eve to the fame gala dinner, but many preferred the dinner
Gala dinner was good, but I wouldn't choose to eat veal, and the salad in a big poppodom course in the middle of the meal was strange.
Signs up for the cinema showing what was on but no time on it
Signage for ( limited) daytime activities downstairs where no one looks
Rixos had a sign in reception and gave you a leaflet on arrival of what was going on.
Better daytime activities at the Rixos.

FAME Positives:

Loved the little beach bar, sunbeds out, people sunbathing, rather than deserted Rixos beach area.
Grounds were lovely
More seating areas, plenty of room in bar areas
Preferred individual dining rooms to the large one at Rixos.
Free hamam, lovely to get warm after the freezing cold pool.
Lovely cleaning ladies and bar staff.
The lack of entertainment meant our time together as a family was real quality time, we played board games, cards and talked and laughed.
Went to the 'a la carte' retaurant, booking procedure much easier than the Rixos. Was hilarious, no menu so each course was a total surprise, but the service and food was lovely and made a change from the buffet.

Yes and on all local hotels too - they are invaluable and we don't have enough of them for our area of Turkey.

Maybe you could have a dedicated hotel reviews page?
