the tulips were in full bloom in the Gulhane park, it was over Easter and we left the UK in the snow,so  seeing spring flowers in all their glory was so lovely

Certainly is, in the same way that Calis is a long way to come for a manky bit of beach but it won't stop me

Tulips were introduced to Holland from Turkey  :)

And is the very artistic logo of the Turkish tourist board who have spent large sums promoting it as the symbol of Turkey. Shame it didn't work very well. Here is an artwork in Sultan Ahmet Park.

I must have walked through that park a million times! Obviously time for a trip to Specsavers  8) cos I have never seen that  ???
