Bristol Flights: Bad News 2016

I have been looking at Bristol-Dalaman flights for June 2016. The flight times are awful. Each of the three Easyjet flights arrives in Dalaman at 21.50 so it will 11.30 before we get to resort. Return is on the same flight and get back to Bristol at 01.00. Rubbish if you are taking a four-year old and unpleasant if you are an adult. I am quite prepared to pay more for flights that get us to the resort in time for a stroll round and a leisurely meal and a return that lands on the same day that it takes off. I looked at Thomas Cook and Thomson flights but they were worse - what I think Germans call "Fledermaus flights"; flying by night like a bat. I think we will be travelling via Bodrum Milas instead. I haven't looked for Bristol-Antalya flights yet.

Flight times have got progressively worse from Birmingham and East Midlands over the years too. Finding our perfect morning departure, mid-afternoon return is nigh-on impossible these days.

Got a return flight from Dalaman departing at 0050 to "look forward to" soon. I'd happily do it by myself, but agreed it's no fun with kids.

Thats about normal flying from most places in Scotland

Can't fault Easyjet from Edinburgh... afternoon out, afternoon in.  Just had a look at prices for next Spring, eighty odd quid return for quite a few periods - and all within an hour or so for most of Scotland.

I can't remember the last time we got into resort early enough to have a stroll around - it's normally a mad dash to get to the hotel, drop our bags off and out to Frank Cannons.

I haven't arrived from the UK to Dalaman earlier than around 8:30pm in years.
