Does anyone know the times of the buses in September for Cappadocia from Fethiye otogar.

Metro Turizm buses leave Fethiye aound 14.30, 16.30 & 19.30 and it's a 12 hour journey. Return tickets are around 70TL. Buses are very good quality and they stop for 10 - 15 minutes every hour or so. Plus there are usually soft drinks, tea and coffee available on board. The later departure stops at less pick-up points along the route. Bear in mind that, as the trip is at night, you'll not have a chance to see any scenery on the way but if you choose the 14.30 departure you'll be arriving in Nevsehir around 2 or 3am.

Although there aren't any direct flights to Kayseri (ASR) from Dalaman (DLM) it's well worth checking-out flights via Istanbul (IST) or (SAW).

It makes a pleasant break to fly into Istanbul and pick up a flight to Cappadocia then spend a few days there at somewhere like Goreme and do the trips then fly back to Istanbul for a couple of days holiday. The flight to Cappadocia is cheaper if you book it in Turkey.

I travelled to Goreme from Fethiye a few weeks ago with Metro. 80 lira going & 75lira back. Single seats on drivers side & double seats ohotherside. Going, 10 min stop 1/2 way to Antalya. 1/2 hr stop Antalya. Some 5/10 min toilet stops & two main 1/2 hr stops. Left Fethiye 2pm arrived 4:15 am. Returned 9pm arrived Fethiye 11 am. Not as many stops. Seats very comfortable .wifi on board hit & miss.Drink & small snack 3 times both ways.
