There is a decent Turkish restaurant in Bedford near to the town river bridge by the church square and near to Nandos and McDonalds. The name is the Nazar 01234 954147.
Although it is not a restaurant you can buy an Iskender Kebab at the Kebab House on the Wellingborough Road in Rushden. My daughter started enjoying these after visiting us when we lived in Turkey.
