School Uniforms
« on: February 24, 2013, 14:33:20 PM »
Another update on another project -

Since the New Year the 3C's have spent 3,000 TL towards the cost of purchasing basic school uniform (that is jumpers, trousers/skirts, shirts and shoes) for 60 children from poor families in the local area.  These children  have been identified by the Belediye as being in need of clothing and they have carried out all the relevant checks to establish that they are families in need.  All of these children  attend the poorer schools in Fethiye and the outlying area.

Clearly we would not want to display photographs of any of these children as it could cause embarrasment for the families.

Thank you again for your support - without this, this project would not have happened

Yes indeed, the good work just goes on and on. I hope we (as a community) continue the "give something back" philosophy that has been so successful.

I love reading this stuff, gives me a real buzz to know I have helped in a small way along with all the other great members of CBF.
