Liverpool v Everton
« on: January 29, 2014, 08:28:35 AM »
Very surprised last night Everton looked poor and not a patch on the Everton of the last few weeks.  We all settled down expecting a very hard match, as the derby's usually are, but Everton's defence was totally lacking.
However, very happy with the result, shame about the penalty, but these things happen.  Enjoyed the game and think we played very well.  ;)

i thought Everton battled extremely well and never gave up, their injuries definitely weekend them but i thought they played with pride and passion, and should hold there heads high, the faced an incredible Liverpool side last night and that was no rolling over as the stats prove

Liverpool also have a lot of injured players.  However, whatever the stats say, Liverpool did not need to run around too much, they just took the Everton defence apart when it mattered.

i am a Liverpool fan! i just know that Everton made a very good go of it, we were obviously the better team, but it certainly wasn't you run of the mill 4-0, a few good saves some close shots things could have been very different

it was supposed to!

they took a beating but it wasnt as one sided as it seemed, i also have Liverpool tinted glasses, but respect were its due they played hard and didnt give in, something we usually respect at Liverpool.

(any better?)
