Is much progress being made with the installation of fibre in Fethiye and when, if ever, can we expect it in the Gunlukbasi/Calis areas?

As a matter of intrest- did fibre optic internet ever arrive in Fethiye or is it still the primitive speeds there?

Yes there is fiber optic but only in certain areas. So dont hold your breath....

Well at least thats progress

Had recent visit and thought Fethiye was looking absolutely great- so just  the internet to improve

They laid fiber cable outside our place about two years ago but still can't connected yet...

They laid it all over the Kaya Valley about 15 years ago and told residents that we'd get high quality internet before Fethiye. The whole valley floods in winter, so pretty much a wasted exercise.
