Hot Water Bottles
« on: August 26, 2018, 18:22:16 PM »
I know you will think this is a stupid question I am asking, but I suffer from a lot of pain due to sciatica and arthritis al over especially in my back and legs. We are due to travel to Calis in a few weeks, my question is is there anywhere I can purchase a Hot Water Bottle, as sometimes direct heat helps with the paid. I do not want to bring one with me. So any information would be appreciated.

Thank you
Sandra

Not a daft question at all Sandra - also essential if you are there in winter. Migros etc used to be where we got them. Not too difficult to find them over in Fethiye.

Thanks Scunner,
Thought I would ask the question, handy to have to help relieve the issue.

Probably pharmacies sell them too. Or there are many shops around the state hospital selling medical things. They should sell too. Ask for termofor.

Would a heat pad not be better?  They maintain their heat at a constant level. Nowadays you can buy individual heat pads from the pharmacies everywhere.  One thing to bear in mind is the fact that the heat in Turkey itself will benefit you.  My arthritis doesn’t play me up the same when I’m in Turkey.
