Olu sea front
« on: March 29, 2020, 12:23:09 PM »
Good day to you all.
I have just been viewing olu deniz seafront on the Buzz’s beach bar webcam
Which I do most days and wishing I was there, and wondered if my phone picture
Was faulty because either that or it looks like they have been digging up the seafront
Along where the paragliders land.
Any news on what they are doing there.
Thanks
Shuttle

Nobody can go to beaches or along promenades, so may be a while before anyone can answer this.

Perhaps RTE's burying a few shoe boxes for a rainy day.  ;)

Making the most by installing pipe work/services whilst things are quiet, unlike the U.K. who wait until a bank holiday to do work to hack everyone off.

So it's ok for these workers to be exposed to a higher risk of catching the virus.

Perhaps they volunteered so that they can continue to feed their families ?

A couple of restaurants are boarded up (including the one with the swings inside). Other than it definitely being quieter than previous years, I don’t much of a difference.

Masks are being worn by the taxi/minibus drivers, hotel staff and restaurant staff. No one is wearing them whilst walking around and we only put them on to enter a restaurant.
