If you can manage to forego the pool email Orange Cars via this forum, Ahmet has a new block of apts to let out, 350tl for 2 bed or 500 for 3 bed duplexes, both are unfurnished prices. Location is on his old hotel site nr the Sunday Market area.

£450 or 450tl? If £'s then that's a lot more than the Calis rates, maybe Ovacik is more expensive? If tl then as long as you like the area I'd say that was a very fair price for a long term rental.

It is for a private Villa not apartment and long term lets up here can be anything over £5000 per year.

Do you want to be actually in Calis? My cousin has a 2 bed spacious apartment that is funished and has a pool it is not in Calis it is about 10 mins on a dolomus and is ready to move into pretty sure she would charge a reasonable rent as she would prefer it to be occupied. If you are interested pm me and I will contact her and find out the rental price, I know you could also have it as long as you wanted :)

No probs Supacabby, but must admit was a bit surprised at the lower rentals, must have put rental prices down,we were in calis last year with friends looking for apartment rental and some of the prices were frightening anywhere between 800 and 1000tl a month for very old turkish houses with communal pools.Must have been looking in the wrong places lol.

Is that 450£ a month for Ovacik for guarrenteed long term rental?  I have a friend who is looking for long term rental in Calis, and was looking at an agent in Fethiye, he wants 1200 Euro a month for a modern 2 bed apartment in Calis.

All these people "wanting" £450 a month or 1200 Euro for a two bedroom property seem to have one thing in common - they aren't getting it! You could get a nice place is large parts of the UK for £450 a month, and be able to work to pay it!!!

That does seem expensive - about 1500 lira for a fullt furnished 4 bed villa in Calis - the best time to look for long term rents is the winter - once the summer comes people eho have furniture will make more money letting to tourists.   Quite often fully furnished is only available until the beginning of the season for the same reason.

Yeah way over priced £450 a month :-\
I know of long term renters who are paying approx £250 a month for a decent 2 bed apartment.
I am sure a lot of other members on the forum do too.

My rental was 475tl a month for a decent 2 bed apt with pool on a small complex in a superb location nr the Aquapark in Calis, that's what I based my comments on, oh & the fact I know of many others renting at a similar price.
