.....watching BBC Scotland's idea of NYE television, which hasn't changed in 30 years.

With the exception of Ally Bain and Phil Cunningham - it has been appalling in recent years.

Gone are the days of Duncan MacRae, Roddy MacMillan and the like.  :( :( :( :(

We'll be driving over to a few of our former neighbours for a bring-a-dish curry night. At some time after midnight we'll be using our torches to light our staggering way over the field, along the river (hoping not to fall in) and across the bridge back to our place. Well, that's the plan anyway.

Stay in NYE with a nice bottle of wine ,Jools Holland and a brandy nightcap.New Years Day,out on it from about 2 till when.Leave NYE to the amateurs
