Thanks for all your comments.

I'm moving from Ovacik because it is cold, too hilly, in winter the dolmuses only run every half an hour, and most places close. I came here in April, and I found the apartment with only five days to spare before going back to the UK, so had to take it. It's been a good first home though, and cooler in the summer. August was quite a shock to my system with the humidity! That will be the month I visit the UK next year   ;)

I just love Turkiye!   :D

Amazing that you lived in Ovacik and never once visited Calis seafront  :)

There were two reasons for that. I had stayed at the Rebin Beach about four years ago, and although not really seeing Calis properly, I didn't take to it. Also, with Oludeniz being so close to Ovacik, which I absolutely love, I had no need to go to the beach at Calis.    :)

The pictures are lovely. This time of year in Turkey is beautiful and it looks like we are in for yet another sunny Christmas day according to AccuWeather. I  Certainly don't miss scrapping ice off my windscreen in winter, or those grey days for that matter. Sue xx

Well that would be nice. Accuweather hasn't been very accurate lately. It's been saying rain for a few days, but none has appeared - thankfully!

Lol, I know, our rain should have started an hour ago in Akbuk but it hasn't , but not complaining though, as when it rains it certainly rains xx

Hope living in Calis next for you will tick all the boxes that Ovacik didn't.  Good luck with the move.
