Outstanding photography there, Tinkerman!

I love the morning mist shots, so atmospheric.

My Mum will adore the kingfisher photograph, it's her favourite bird. She's dying to see one around Fethiye.

A few trips from Fethiye to Calis on the old water taxi will certainly allow your mum to see a kingfisher.

We've done that several times and not been lucky enough yet.

Have to keep trying - not exactly a hardship. I love the Calis water taxi.

No a kingfisher Kevin   ;) if you are looking for them from the water taxi they fly up and down the canal looking for perches, I find the best place is where the fishermen go to the left side of the canal entrance going towards the new duck islands  :)
