Never get tired of It (or Fresh Strawberries)
« on: April 19, 2014, 20:15:50 PM »
Went for our evening walk this evening

And then home for something to eat followed by cheesecake - these Strawberries are 5 tl for one kilo off the grower just past and behind the original Kipa - which is £1.40p a kilo - and having sold a few million pounds worth of fruit & vegetables in my time - trust me these are good   :)

Just eating some as I read your post, Ian!

Friends brought them as a gift last night when they came to dinner, telling me they bought them from the farmer in Tuzla.

Gorgeous strawberries. Mmmmm.

Yes the local strawberries are really good at the moment.  I always choose the local strawberry stall and have not been disappointed, although as good as they are they are still not as good as the locally grown and consumed Sussex and Kent strawberries, but this year they are very close.

Yes - that's the place - his punnets are much more filled than the market for the same price :-)
