Disgraceful unilateral decision by Mr.Sepptic Blatter, (German, by the way). The wearing of the Poppy is NOT a political decision, Herr Blatter, but a true showing of the affection felt towards "The Fallen".
If the F.A. do not have the balls, (No pun intended), to give ,not just the English National squad, but ALL of our National teams, the go-ahead to wear the poppy with pride, it is another example of kow-towing to Europe.
Perhaps the players should use their own discretion, & wear it anyway.

I see the Germans are in favour of the England Team wearing the poppy and why not?  The point of the poppy is to remember the fallen and the Germans lost a lot of people too.  The neutral Swiss Mr Blatter should hang his head in shame.

Ok, Ok , he's not German, he was born in some obscure place called Visp in Cuckoo-clock Land, but, he acts like a frickin' Nazi, what with all of his pontificating. Stuff him anyway !! : :)

Accepting back handers in return for lucrative votes is acceptable. Remembering those who gave the ultimate sacrifice to protect our basic freedom is not. That's Fifaland.
