A superb result for Chelsea, but you have to feel sorry for Harry. First he is overlooked for the England job, then because of Chelsea's achievement last night, there is now no CL football at White Hart Lane next season. The final straw will be Gareth Bale & Luka Modric handing in transfer requests.

It was great to see Chelsea win.  One sobering thought I had though, was that, with an Italian manager, Chelsea showed that you could beat better teams (Barca and Bayern) by massed defence with the odd break.  That put me in mind of traditional Italian football which used to bore the pants off us Brits.  I hope no premier league managers get any bright ideas along those lines.

But Tinx, they were very very defensive in both legs v Barca and mega defensive in the final. Yes it did the trick but any neutral would have been hoping the teams that attacked came out on top.

Having said all that I believe RDM used the resources he had at his disposal very well. He obviously does not trust or rate Torres though. One of them will be gone this summer I think.

you do have to wonder why Torres didnt take a penalty, Im sure that wasn't Robbies idea, so you have to think the self confidence is not there yet.
