The last of the full days out with the hire car today, not really much more to do within a days distance. We wandered off down to Gocek, enjoyed a stroll round the town & a cay on the front dreaming about the boats then moved onto to Koycegiz town & lake.
Koycegiz town is small, not much tourism there but a lovely lakeside walk in the sunshine was worth the trip. A nice "Nescafe" (trades description act violation in progress!) in the "square" then an interesting drive around the lakes edge to find some beautiful scenery amongst the Orange groves. Found a mud bath in Sultaniye but it was closed, oh well. Decided to continue around the lake edge then came a cropper right outside the Sultan Palas Hotel (looked nice from the outside!), road closed due to landslide! 3rd time this last week we've been forced to do a u-turn & double back, all part of the fun!

between Dalaman & Gocek somewhere between here & there:D I noticed a sign for an "Amerikan Oto Show". I've driven this route & been driven along this route many times yet never noticed this before. In for a nose, 5tl got us past the 12 year old security guard:D & an hour of fun & some amazing sights, yet again Turkey proves to be something different
