Does anyone know of any banks in Fethiye changing Scottish notes?A young man recently arrived in Calis didnt know about changing these into English notes before he came over to Turkey.

Eddie I just spoke to Alper at ING he does not know any banks that will accept Scottish money, he did say some of the change shops will but give a much lower rate.

Scottish notes in Turkey are like the proverbial "fart in a spacesuit" - the only chance he may have is to visit Gurbuz at Onur silver (opposite Joseph's Bar) as he sometimes can change a bit, which he then changes for Scottish people heading home.

There was a Scottish bar in Hisaronu that changed notes.  Not sure if it is still there now.

I once offered to buy Scottish notes back with TL at the rate they sold for
(tongue in cheek) from an exchange office in Hisaronu.
Needless to say they declined!
