What is the max. limit for cash in Lira at ATM in Calis ?
-
It depends on what £ limit your bank has put on your card.
-
I was drawing 1000 TL at a time last week which was below the £250 limit on my card. (N & P Card)

No. In Turkey is a limit for foreign cards. I think TL 1.000 (depends on Turkish bank / ATM)
In Germany you have a limit per day / ATM. € 1.000
-
So, you've answered your own question ?
-
We have drawn £400.00 from the A.T.M's just a couple of weeks ago. In fact we have two cards for the same joint account and we bought drew £400.00 each.

I hoped someone would answer TL 2.000 or more, because TL 1.000 is a rather small sum.
-
OK then. TL 2.000 or more. Good luck. ;)
-
Again I think you need to ask your own bank to raise the limit for you
-
We always have bills to pay so need to be able to draw enough money to cover them. As Scunner says, just ask your Bank to raise your limit.

I did it. They told me it depends on the Turkish bank / ATM
Reason: usually - if you are employed - your limit is 2-3 monthly salaries.
In Germany we don't use debit cards as in UK.
-
Your bank can increase your sterling limit on request. At HSBC I always used to draw £350. However I think the 1,000tl limit is set by the Turkish ATM operators.

Kenkay, St. Pauli isn't British, so rules about Sterling limits don't apply to them.
